Job: The Monroe’s Home Renovation // Client: Josh & Emily Monroe // Role: Design and Architecture Consultant

Josh and Emily moved out to new Hampshire in 2013 for Emily’s dream job: an engineering position at Ruger.  Having had a good experience buying a foreclosure as their first home, they tried again.  They ended up with a 1970s saltbox built by a carpenter (we’re talking, lots of wood beams here).  The house was built with all practicality and no thought for design, so it’s time to add a little in.  We’re currently in the process of moving the kitchen, so check back in for before and after pictures (we’re in for the long haul on this one) and in the meantime, enjoy these mood boards I created for Josh and Emily’s master bedroom and a future nursery.
